None of the IPTV app not playing in sumsung 55 Tizen TV

Hello,

I have recently purchased the following TV,

SAMSUNG QE55Q60TAUXXU (55" Smart Ultra HD 4K QLED TV)  where I installed ottplayer or smartTV.club app for my own m3u playlist. But none of the iptv are playing in these apps. It is always saying either connecting or buffering but no video at all.

I have 2016 model 65 inch Samsung smart tv, where these iptv are working perfectly. Also IPTV are working fine in computers VLC app.

I feel SAMSUNG QE55Q60TAUXXU has Tizen OS which causes to play any iptv. Can anyone suggest for fixing this issue please?

You will need to contact the developers for support. Reading the reviews of OTT player suggests it is a problem app for others. Smart TV is not on Play Store so couldn't find info. Perhaps there is a copyright issue?

I just mentioned these two apps just for example. But if I install any IPTV video player app in my TV and give my m3u playlist nothing is playing. But same m3u list are playing perfectly fine in Firestick app(IPTV smarters) attached in the same TV. So, strongly suspect some issues with either

- Samsung Tizen OS

or

- Add some additional connection setting or broadband connection setting in TV

Please suggest.

i have the same issue too. It's been working fine with SIPTV for almost a year and now suddenly it stopped loading channels, tried few other players - same problem. The playlist works just fine on any other devices, it's Tizen related issue i think and wondering what else may i try to have it working again

I bought 2 IPTV apps (1. Smart IPTV & 2. SmartOne IPTV) for my Samsung tizen-powered 4.0 TV. At first both played smoothly, each with different streaming service (paid & free).

Now after one day it plays for like 1 minute, then freezes and hangs up.

Can anyone help how to fix this?

Same for me - none of the IPTV apps work.  They will load the EPG but no channels.

Fix found:

Go to your network settings and in IP settings change the DNS to either 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4

I also have the same problem, all iptv apps stoped reading hls(m3u) playlist few months ago, same happened on two tvs, until then it worked fine for a year. Some samsung update or what? I dont understand, changing DNS dont help...

Just for info - IPTV Smarters Pro has just been updated on the Samsung App Store - it is by far the best IPTV app on any platform.. :smiling-face:
