Has anyone figured out how to get a Samsung Tv to see a terrestrial aerial? Finally managed to disconnect the annoying Samsung Smart TV but the TV does not see the aerial connection. Nothing wrong with the aerial or cables as it was working fine on my old tv. Saw a post earlier that lots of people were having similar problems. The tv is a Samsung UE43AU9000KXXU.
Thanks in advance.

Loss of signal is happening in the Czech Republic too. Let's talk about a Samsung QLED Smart TV.
The signal was sufficient for approximately two years. After two years of the warranty period, the signal slowly started degrading. TV ended up almost without all of the TV channels.
We tried to tune the channels and lost all the TV channels.
Then we reset to the factory setting and lost all our settings (Prime TV, NETFLIX, Samsung Account, Bixby, Youtube). We set them up again. We tried to tune the channels again, again without any success.
We updated to the newest firmware. No signal. No channels.
We called the support. They remotely connected to the TV and started tuning. No channels. No signal.
They said that resetting to the factory setting would help. We disagreed.
They recommended to send the TV to the original service.
We don't watch classical TV programs, but our mother wanted to see the TV Show on the Ceska Televize 1 channel. We have noticed the request and tried to fulfil her wish.
Luckily in our country the SWEET.TV Internet TV is available (among many other internet TVs (Apple TV, VOYO, NETFLIX, PRIME video, Rokuten TV, Youtube, O2 TV, ...)).
SWEET.TV serves the Ceska Televize 1 HDTV channel via the Internet, without any taxes included.
Thus our mother can watch her favorite TV Show now.
Maybe the same solution fits and resolves your headache too.
Best regards from the Czech Republic.

Give this a try:
Go into Channel List > Edit channels > Select All > Delete. Once you have deleted them all you can start a channel scan again and it should start finding channels again.

I also have the ks7000 and can not hook up an antenna. Very disappointed

We had tried "delete" all the settings.
Each time we choose tune automatically, all the stored channels are deleted.
Every time we choose to reset to factory settings, all the stored channels are deleted.
Deleting channels in advance isn't a solution in our case.
We bought an antenna and connected it to the TV using a short ( 3 m ) coaxial cable. The set, a Samsung TV with a brand-new antenna, is capable of tuning some of the channels. An amplifier or power supply unit may or may not be a complete solution.

Well, the factory reset didn't help me. It could scan analogue channels but not the digital ones it had received previously. But after I manually deleted the analogue channels as I described, it successfully scanned and tuned the digital ones again. This was after many scanning attempts and two factory resets with no luck. Go figure.

We hook our Smart Samsung TV up to an antenna (the newly minted antenna). The environment, a TV with an antenna, tunes only part of all the channels the older television was tuning.

My problem wasn't my antenna, it was the scanning function in the TV's software. The channels had 100% signal and there was no apparent reason it wasn't locking on to them. I only posted my solution in case others were stuck like me, inexplicably unable to tune into channels it had received just days earlier.

The result is outlined below.
Please, don't take it too seriously. Our result may or may not depend on other conditions ( for example weather ) and we tried it only once.
Before Channel List > Edit channels > Select All > Delete, our Smart Samsung TV statistics:
Digital TV: 34 tuned channels
Analog TV: 0 tuned channels
After Channel List > Edit channels > Select All > Delete, our Smart Samsung TV statistics:
Digital TV: 58 tuned channels
Analog TV: 0 tuned channels
