Hi, I turned my tv on today and noticed that there is horizontal line across the top of my screen. The TV is barely 2 years old, if even 2 yet. Model no: UE43TU7020KXXU I have tried a soft reset and self diagnosis picture test, no change.
Has anything gone close to the TV that may be sharp or maybe a magnet? Try to restart your TV, check for updates (could be a rendering issue) and contact samsung. Hope this helps
No, the TV has been sat in one spot since being bought, no magnets, no sharps near it. I've looked around the TV and cant see no physical marks. The line just appeared. As for restarting it, I've tried, as well as a "soft reset" to no avail.
I've had the same, a few months after I bought TV, samsung came out to replace the screen (was still in warranty within 12 months). A year later the lines came back, I've noticed that this is a very common problem with the new generation Samsung Tvs. Called samsung and they could not care less now that it's out of warranty, although it is a common problem.
