Samsung claims to provide a 5-year warranty but will deny coverage for any cosmetic damage. Even when that damage is caused by a certified technician. They make a poor-quality product that is designed to break when the cover is removed so they can use that as an excuse to avoid covering the product. I purchased a 65" TV that said it had a 5-year warranty in 2021 (the year it was built) in 2024 it stopped coming on and I took it to a technician who popped the back off and, in the process, broke a small piece off the back cover. Once the cover was off he turned on the TV and it just came on. He did not other work and did not charge for the service. He was the one who let me know it should be still under warranty if the issue reoccured.
The issue began again 2 days later but Samsung refuses to honor the warranty referring to the chip as impact damage and then has the audacity to ask if I just want to buy another one of their products instead.
