@Tricky01  Thanks for the information on Netflix's HDR descriptions, seems a bit generic rather than specific.   Appears though it is not a fault on Samsung's devices.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

It is worthy of note that the HDR+ is a mode that artificially convert SDR content to HDR. Some movies in Netflix comes with different version format, just as I understood from my end.

I am a bit confused about HDR support on Samsung TV's.
According to Samsung official information, they support HDR10+ and HLG only. That's fine, but this does not match with Netflix info that states Dolby Vision and HDR10.
I should assume Samsung IS indeed supporting HDR10 as well, otherwise no HDR content should be visibile on Samsung screens.
Of course Dolby will never land on Samsung, given the battle in place between these two competing formats, where Samsum is part of 10+ consortium.

What do you think?

@Capstan62: I can confirm that our TVs with HDR10+ also supports HDR10. Any content that supports HDR10+ will utilise this feature, otherwise it will play in HDR10. I hope this helps.

That’s indeed useful. I am doing a market survey on this matter and this is a great help for me

Thank you.
