Since installing the latest firmware on my ks8000 I'm experiencing horrendous local dimming issues when watching HDR content. Either on uhd Blu-ray or Netflix.
Whether a scene switches from dark to bright the brightness flickers and readjusts. For reference check out the jail scene in fantastic beasts 1 as the shot switches between characters.
