We have a Frame TV incoming along with the installation service. When we have the house rewired, I thought it would be useful to have a double gang power socket/Ethernet/aerial installed both at the bottom (just above the skirting board) and mid-height on the wall where the TV would likely go. The idea being whatever TV would be put up on the wall could then have the relevant connections from the mid-height position.
I didn't anticipate things like a One Connect box or how thin profile a TV bracket would be. Luckily the slim fit bracket would be anchored either side of the power socket but my question is - if unused, would the socket housing be shallow enough to install the tv bracket and TV? Thank you.
