I have an external hard drive and it was working fine the other day...now the folders are there but when I open them they say no content found when hooked up to my Samsung smart hub tv...I download off my Android straight to a Seagate hard drive...if i my hard drive is hooked up to a computer it has the files in there and they work....I'm at a loss...any help please

I have the same problem. Also new directories I made are dated 1/1/1970 at the tv.
Seems like its an exfat hdd issue, I will format it to NTFS.

I had this same problem and resetting the SmartHub worked! Thank you so much. I wish I would’ve know this sooner because it happened to my parents Samsung TV too.

Useless advice . I tried other HDD is works fine only one HDD had the issue suddenly it works fine in other tv and pc

I have a similar problem. I have X amount of folders on my Seagate hard drive. The last 10 folders I've added show up, but my tv detects no files in them. If I move said files to another folder, they show up. If I rename one of the older folders to the name of one of the newer folders (having first deleted the newer folder), it still works. If I make a copy of a working folder ( a sub-folder) and paste it in one level up, it "counts" as a new folder, and the tv can't detect any files. If I cut and paste it (instead of copying) it works...
