Our new Samsung QLED Q80T 49" was delivered yesterday but after having put the smartthings app on my phone, it doesn't seem to recognise the TV and eventually came up with the above error code. Help please.

TV used to work with Alexa.  Verified TV and phone apps on same WIFI, only have 1 in my home.  TV works OK with remote.  Doesn't work with Alexa.  Samsung TV only device in my home that does not work with Alexa. Deleted and reinstalled SmartThings. TV shows as offline and get an error code 05-300.  Anyone know where we can look code up since Samsung has failed to answer us?

Because Samsung has a separate support department for SmartThings, and they are completely inept. After trying everything Samsung listed, and some ideas of my own, I finally gave up.

Same issue. I have a lot of samsung devices. I love them. THIS issue has me ready to abandon ship. Samsung UN49NU8000FXZA TV. Only device in the house that stopped working with Alexa and smart things.

I just logged in my samsung account on my tv. Then it worked well.

It is 2025, Samsung or Smart Things still haven't responded to this post, and I have also just got this error code trying to set up a Smart Tag 2. Absolutely no connection, only 05-300. Anyone?

For my TV on Smart Things app, every couple of months I delete my TV then set it up again.  Then it works for awhile.  I don't watch tv much and I wonder that's a factor why it stops working.

I have to frequently delete tv from app then reenter it.  Still an inconvenience,
