I've just bought a new QE75QN85DBTXXU TV, what's the best way to search for and download Apps, to Install on it? With my old Samsung TV it had a Samsung version of Microsoft Store, not on this one.

@IanM TV: To search for apps on your TV, press the Home button on your remote, then head to Media > Apps, and select the search function in the top right corner (magnifying glass symbol).

Cheers AndrewL. When I press Home, I get For You, Live and Apps. On selecting Apps, there isn't a Search function top right. I seem to have to scroll down to Genre, then select Video, Sports, etc. Can't see a Search (magnifying glass), in any of the options, except the left have side bar, with Home in it. Possibly worth having a Play Store like App, to search, select, download and install.

@IanM TV: It is possible that you're not in the right place. When you press the Home button, APPS should be visible when you scroll to the left and, when selected, should be as described in my initial reply. For clarity, the APPS option should have 4 circles as a logo. For further information, please see page 87 of the user manual by following the link below.

Thank you AndrewL. I've attached a photo on my TV's screen, after pressing Home. As, shown, only have a choice of For You, Live and Apps. The photo shows you on screen after selecting Apps. To the left I have User name, Search (content only, when I tried Apps), Ambient, Game, Home, Connected devices, Settings, Privicy choices. It doesn't look like the screen in the user manual you kindly linked me too.

We have this exact problem with our new

QE43Q67DAU. The app screen layout doesn’t have the search option. We’re trying to find and install U&yesterday app

@folkieboater: When you press the Home button on your remote, a menu bar should appear at the bottom of the screen. If you select 'APPS' from this menu, then the search function should be visible in the top right corner of the screen.

No, our layout is the same as @IanM TV above. The only search is on the home bar on the left of the screen. The apps are in a gallery view. I don’t see a way to search for apps that don’t show in this gallery. I’ve added Spotify and TT+ for these, but there is no U&Yesterday - nor any of the rest of the “chain”

Hi AndrewL, thank you for your response. My V's layout when pressing Home, is different tothe one you mentioned, see the attached photo.

If I navigate across to Apps, it doesn't offer a search function.IMG_20240930_134501.jpg

Hi Andrew,

Is there any update to this? My S90C used to have the screen shown in the manual you linked, but a software update around the same time as this thread was started completely changed the user interface to look like what the other posters have in their photos here. I can access a full catalogue of apps under Apps > Genre, but I have no idea what the genre of the app I'm looking for is, and even if I did each genre has literal thousands of unsorted apps to try and find things in. I'm fully dependent on any app I need being in the recommended list to have any hope of finding it.

Thanks!
