Hi I have a Samsung LED TV (UE50JU6800k) that is about 5 years old - about a year or so ago a series of grid line darker spots appeared on to show when the screen was in a lighter picture. These darker spots appeared on what would be the position of all the LED placements (?). The dark spots had a light circular halo around them.
a week or so ago a single brighter spot has appeared in the middle of the screen in the same grid but only on one spot.
Would replacing the LED strips remedy this issue?
The TV is out of warranty but was expensive to replace.
Kind regards
Peter

@Mayday2021: Sorry to hear that you're having some issues with your TV's display. If you head to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test, is the issue present in the sample image, and does the test return any 'Failed' messages in the summary at the end? If it does, I'm unable to diagnose the possible cause of the issue, and recommend reaching out to one of our Support Centres to arrange an out of warranty inspection. To find your nearest one please follow the link below, select 'TV & AV > Television' and enter your post code.
