Can not get Smart Remote to send IR codes for volume up/down

Hi!

I have a 2020 The Frame TV with OneConnect box. I want my Smart Remote to send volume up/down to my NAD AMP1 amplifier, but I can not get IR to work on the Smart Remote. IR is just sent from the OneConnect box. How can I get the Smart Remote to send IR codes?

AFAIK Smart Remote doesn't support IR. Support for external devices is via HDMI ARC CEC only.

Are you sure? Smart Remote send IR codes at power on/off. Why not support for e.g. volume buttons?
