My UE43CU7020 keeps getting notifications to connect to my neighbours and my own bluetooth devices unprompted. It appears in the 'devices available to connect' lists. Is there any way to turn bluetooth off my TV so it doesn't appear on the lists altogether? Thanks.

Disable the Autorun Multi View Mirroring function
To do this, press the Home button on your remote
Navigate to Menu
Navigate to General & Privacy
Start Screen Option
Disable the Autorun Multi View Mirroring function

To turn off your Samsung TV from searching for Bluetooth devices, navigate to the Settings menu on your TV, then go to Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List and simply toggle the Bluetooth option to "Off" which will stop the TV from actively searching for nearby Bluetooth devices.

Hi I've managed to look and neither of these options appear to be available 20250129_162759_1000022748_1738168081.jpg20250129_162949_1000022749_1738168190.jpg

I would suggest calling customer service as it may be a menu only visible to an authorised service repair centre, and accessing it on your own may void any warranties. Turning off Bluetooth also disables the smart remote function.

With TV off - info - settings - turn tv on. Press -  mute - 1 1 9 - okay. Menu should pop up after a few seconds. Press  1234 - options - MRT option - BT Support - toggle to OFF and turn off tv.  Will turn off the Bluetooth for you.

Solution: Given that I also receive continuous notifications (a nightmare to watch a movie in peace) on my Samsung Smart TV from a Bluetooth device named L179 trying to connect to play the audio from my TV, I found this solution:

  1. I let it connect to my TV by accepting the connection, and of course, the audio from my TV disappears. But immediately after, without disconnecting this device, I follow these steps:
  2. In the menu, I go to the General tab, then to Accessibility, and at the bottom of this tab, I activate the "multi-output audio" function (with this function, the audio will be heard simultaneously from our TV and the unknown Bluetooth device, which will no longer send connection requests to our TV).

At this point, the unknown Bluetooth device is connected, but the audio is heard normally from the TV. So, as long as the TV remains on, no more notifications appear. If the TV is turned off, the unknown device will request connection again upon turning it back on, but by repeating the above procedure, as long as our TV is on, we will no longer have continuous notification problems. (Perhaps the device of the person bothering us will eventually run out of battery, maybe unintentionally). The only thing to remember is that we will have activated simultaneous TV + Bluetooth device audio, so if we want to connect headphones and mute the TV, we will need to deactivate the simultaneous audio option.
