I have a Bose QC 35 headphone, which I successfully connected to my Samsung the Frame 2019, 49". After choosing this device for the sound output, it plays for 1-5 secs through the headphone. And then switches back to the default audio output. The QC 35 is still connected. No error messages shown or heard on any of the devices. What can be wrong?

er, sorry, that was meant to read "2022". That's a long time for a fundamental problem like this to hang around

MAY 2022 and still the same issue. I have a Sonos Arc connected thru HDMI e-arc and Sony WH-1000XME headphones connected successfully with Bluetooth. Yes turning off Anynet+ means I can listen on my headphones, but surely with a top end TV you shouldn't have to have a 'workaround' for such a routine requirement.... come on Samsung...??!! I should be able to choose to listen to either or even both at the same time... I can do that without any 'workarounds' with other media set-ups (Apple Mac mini as media player). This isn't rocket science guys.

Just got a firmware update to my NU7450, they've finally fixed the BT issue

Seriously? 😱 I never thought I’d live to see the day that I could use my headphones with my Frame. Already got an apple-tv (issues with apps crashing, like Netflix whenever I switch account) and AirPods though…

My device is updated and I’m still having the same issue. What do I do?

Hi, sorry for the delay, I've found that I need to connect to the head phones when using live tv and not in any of the apps. I got to settings/sound output/speaker list and connect to my paired headphones, works everytime.

Not the same problem, but on my 55 inch 22-model the Frame the BT sound drops out very often, a couple seconds each time. And I sit three meters in front of the TV.....

I can see that this issue has been going on for years and sadly I have exactly the same. I have a Samsung Frame 65” and just bought a Sony WH-1000XM5 headphone and I cannot get it to work. It shows up in the Bluetooth list and it pairs, but when it connects it drops immediately. I get an instant of vague noise and it’s gone. I’ve tried turning off the AnyNet, I’ve restarted my TV, I’ve re-paired, I unplugged my Bose Soundbar, I’ve connected while being on live TV rather than in an app like Netflix, etc. but nothing works. It’s very frustrating when modern things are supposed to make things easier and better.

I sent back a pair of xm4's because of this same issue, my trusty xm1's work fine.
Sony changed the chipset they use from the xm4 onwards it doesn't support APTX anymore.

I have tried all of the fixes mentioned in this thread and my Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro will not stay connected to my Samsung Q90T. I have a Samsung sound bar hooked up via hdmi. I’ve tried unplugging, turning off anynet + blah blah. The only Bluetooth heads that work and do no disconnect are my Apple AirPods Max. Kind of sad Samsung headphones don’t work but Apple will lol. Hope this helps someone
