Our TV is a little over a year old...not near any heat source. Just today a black splotch appeared in the upper right hand corner and started to spread through the entire screen with the screen resetting constantly. We unplugged it from the wall to no effect. We gave it a factory reset...that did not work. For the amount of money we spent on this...it should last longer than 16 months!

Samsung has to recall all this tv models, QLED, as this has to be a factory or a miss design of the hardware that makes the circuit short. This is what really the problem is. We dont have to be the one carrying the burden of their cheap design

I have just had this exact problem. TV from November 2021. I agree, surely this is a Samsung issue, not a user issue!

Also has this exact same problem on an S95b QLED. Black splodge in the right upper hand corner and TV constantly switching on and off. TV 2.5 years old. In the first couple of weeks after I bought it, a red band appeared across the bottom half of the screen. At first it wouldn’t go away, but eventually it disappeared by itself and didn’t recur. I feel like Samsung has produced defective screens here. Thankfully it’s guaranteed.
