Bought two Samsung TVs in Currys on 15th Nov 2022. Declined the Currys warranty as their salesperson informed us if the promotional 5 year warranty if you registered your products with Samsung - which we did.
£999 TV failed last week, requested repair on Samsung website, but received call from 3rd party repair company saying we were not covered by warranty.
Called Samsung to be told no Samsung products sold through Currys qualify for the promotional warranty - not mentioned by Currys and not mentioned by Samsung when you register your products.
Mis-sold by Currys and hardly an honourable stance being taken by Samsung. Offered £15 voucher to replace TV with another from Samsung, insulting.
Scandalous behaviour by both organisations.

@Tocc1 can understand the frustration, need to go througfh everything with a fine toothcomb though. Currys have not tended to take part in Samsung Tv promotions though and other customers have been caught out. This seems to be the 2022/2023 offer. https://stg-images.samsung.com/is/content/samsung/assets/uk/offer/5-year-samsung-tv-warranty/5-Year-...
of course if you can find anything where curry's state the contrary may have a case.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Samsung could choose to only sell direct, but they don’t, so your post is a bit bizarre.

Spoken to them already, they offered a paltry £15 against the purchase of another Samsung TV (consider that the TV cost £999), then decided to terminate the call. Warranty aside, products need to be fit for purpose - this £999 TV was not fit for purpose while they claim to produce ’superior products’.

Latest on this ‘saga’… out of pocket by £100 as 3rd party appointed by Samsung for ‘out of warranty’ repairs collects TV. 3 days later they call to say the power supply in the screen has failed - good news is that is only a £160 part, bad news is a month long wait for the part - could it be that there is high demand for these globally as failures are common?
I did find this interesting post by Martin Lewis and will take his recommended actions … https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2023/02/martin-lewis-faulty-tech-warranty/ … don’t get screwed basically.
