Apple TV app brightness

I've just purchased a UE43TU7000KXXU specifically for the Apple TV app.  I am finding it completely unwatchable due to the image being so dark and no contrast.  Can anyone help?

Same here - I am using the 2021 Apple 4k device.

We are now able to switch to SDR, but my screen sill doesn’t look right.

I am using the Apple TV App through Roku Streaming.  I have a Samsung TV, but refuse to change my settings on my TV to accommodate Apple's shortcomings.  When a show starts the screen is ok and then becomes darkened like a brightness sensor is triggered.  It is annoying.

There are shortcomings for sure, but I don’t think they are on the side of Apple!

Samsung knows there is a problem and is radio silent apparently.
