Whats going on with my sm_t820

 i am have problems getting it to start if i press the power or front button a load of times it will start eventually but seems to take longer each time i can be repeatedly pressing buttons alternately for 20 minutes before it decides to come on.

Have you tried backing up the data and giving it a factory reset?

Not yet hoping this will be the last resort.
