I have a Galaxy Tab 5e and occassionally it goes really slow and unresonsive.

I installed an widget that shows the system state and this indicates the cpu as high levels of usage (70+%) when it is not really doing anything!

Is there a good app available that will give me information about what is using the CPU, a bit like the Windows Task Manager?

Hi there 👋

You could download Good guardians app from galaxy store and in the app download thermal guardian, which should show usage, there's also apps like device info who should show your usage as well.1733316636472.jpg1733316749260.jpg1733316749278.jpg

Thanks for suggestion but, sadly, "Thermal Guardian" is not an option that is offered! I can download "File Guardian", "Battery Tracker", "Battery Guardian", "Galaxy App Booster" or "Memory Guardian".

Yes, just been in Device Info, but cannot see anywhere that it tells me how much cpu the running apps are consuming!

Also, just looked in Developer Options and cannot see "Show CPU usage"

Not doing very well here!!!!

I guess due to your device being older from 2019 and I don't think it's still supported best to look at apps from play store I suggested or upgrading to never model
