Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Screen damaged?

I just purchased a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 from eBay. But the screen doesn't look right to me.

When i tilt it or look from a side i see all these dots on the screen and it Looks damaged . When looking straight at it, looks ok. Can owners of this tablet confirm if this is damaged or is this normal?

If it is damage, what kind of damage is this and is it an cheap fix?

looks like severe impact marks where there was originally a screen protector originally fitted. though I may be wrong..

worth replacing? - on a Tab A, probably not to be honest. especially if the front on view is fine.

Thanks. I dont think its from the scree protector  as they don't usually leave marks like that.

After some research online, some say its seems to be the polarizing film for the screen. So while the LCD is not defective the film put on it was done sloppily

ok, I guess that you make sense.
regarding replacement, unless you try DIY it might not be worth it .

hmm, i'm scared doing a DIY will make it worse 😭

yup. just not worth it... it just accept as it is.
another thought - put a screen protector on it and you might find the marks disappear...
