Is this normal? I've put a screen protector on my new tab A9 and wanted to increase the sensitivity and there is no button for it. There is only the "Accidental touch protection". Could anyone who has this tablet check if they have the Touch sensitivity button?

Try this:

  1. tap settings.
  2. Tap Language and Input.
  3. Scroll to the very bottom of these settings and tap pointer speed.
  4. I have seen sevreal default speeds, none over %50. Increase the slider to make the touch screen more sensitive and easier to tab. ...
  5. Tap OK and then experiment with the results.

P.S. This is solution by @Badger99

My Tab S9 is opposite to you. I have Touch Sensitivity setting but no Accidental Touch setting. I had a quick search on the web and the only instance was a couple of months ago. The user contacted Samsung about the missing setting and was advised to return the tablet for repair. They (Samsung) were supposed to get back to him with details but they never did.

Yes I've seen that one. I've asked support and did a report. Hopefully they can sort it out with the next update🤞

Not in mu use with all the updates.  I returned the tablet as that issue just became too annoying.

Really like the tablet and got it super cheap but if you cannot touch a touch screen and have react correctly then it goes.

Same here on my tab s9 FE. Try deactivating Dex. Worked for me.

Others have reported a grounding issue is the problem. Put headphones in or touch headphones input to test.
