Hi all , got a tab S8+ , when the icons settle on the screen after unlocking the icons literally stutter in to position, it's not smooth at all ! We have a Samsung Galaxy A16 phone at work , base model and that does exactly the same after unlocking ! Am I to assume that the Tab S8+ is just a bad performer and on a par with a base A16 model ???
If your using fingerprint sensor. Then try switching the "show animation when unlocking" off. I remember having this few seconds stutter when I had my A53 few years ago before selling it. It did fix the issue.
Hi , checked and I've not set up finger prints on my tab , I do have a pattern I use to unlock , if I get rid of all unlock security it doesn't do any stutter
Hi Edgie. I'm not sure on the cause of the stutter. If your happy to not have any screen lock security on your tablet and not have the stutter. Then maybe yes. Its really up to you. It depends if you use it for work or personal use. On the tablet. If it has any video wallpaper on the lock screen. Then try changing it to a normal one. Not sure if itll work
