Tab S7 FE working badly, says I need update when none available

Hi, I bought my #Tab S7FE 4GRAM around 2 years ago and have noticed in the last ~4 months that it has begun to work horribly. Apps are randomly overloading and closing, multitasking takes forever to load and everything is generally slo

As I reset it regularly, have around 20/64GB free and always close background apps, I know this isn't the issue. 

I often recieve a message on my screen saying that my device isn't up to date, and taht I should install  teh newest version of Android, even though I have auto update on and also regularly manually check fur updates, with the last one I had was the 1UI6.0 in February.

I was wondering if anyone knew what the problem was. I don't think it's the raw processing power, as I have not always had this problem, but the only other thing I can think of is that my software support ran out, although that still doesent explain why it used to run far better.

Does anyone have any answers/suggestions? Open to anything!
