Hello and good evening,
The Tab A8 was launched on Januari the 13th. Januari was also the month when Android 12 was released. The flagships will always get the new OS first followed by all midrangers and than the budget devices like the A8. You will get the update later in the year.
Lets hope that there is a normal update fast to solve the other storage issue.
Did you already send a error report about the other storage issue? If not please do so.
You can do so in the Samsung Members app > support.
