Hello, I have a Tab A8 Model SM-X205 with 32GB where I have storageproblem.

The apps I have installed takes approx 12GB, but I can't update anymore due to it says "there is not enough space for updating".

So appearantly there are quite many hidden items taking up space, how do I get rid of them?

You need to go into the settings, then device care section, then look at the storage section where you can delete files but be careful of what files your looking to delete especially if you accidentally hit the wrong file as once it's gone, it's gone.

I have checked there but there are no Delete-button on several items so it seems they are locked in some way

I was hoping for a real, and helpful answer, but no good answer here.

So just a facade

@Members_xtMa4o0: As an alternative approach, you may wish to back up your personal media (photos and videos) via Settings > Accounts and backup > Google Drive > Backup data, or using Smart Switch on your home computer, and this should free up some space for any applications that you'd like to add to the tablet.

Over time your internal storage space will start to become limited due to System and app updates, so this can be an effective means of maintaining your available storage. Let me know how you get on.

My installed apps takes approc 12 GB, all apps at the devices takes up 20.01 GB, system 8.82 GB.. Internal storages takes 109 kB for pictures, Other files 2.58.

I have moved many pictures and document to a SD-card.

So if I could delete quite many System-files it would help much, not to mention hidden apps.

How do I delete them?

Perhaps I need Administrator-licence to do that?
