Software update

Since the recent software update the start up/sleep screen on my Tab A9 is showing Dhu al-Hajjij below the the. Anyone know why or how to fix this?

After the update when I drag from the top of the screen it no longer brings up the shortcuts like Bluetooth, WiFi, volume, torch etc. Anyone know how to get this back?

Swipe down from right hand side. Use edit to add in torch button Flight mode, etc

Does anyone know why whatsapp photos no longer appear in the gallery? Thanks

@Boogill: WhatsApp media should still be visible in your Gallery app. If you open the Gallery and select the 'Albums' tab, can you see a 'WhatsApp Images' folder/album? If no, tap on 'View all' in the top right corner to see if it is visible here. 

If it is, go back to the Albums Home screen > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Select essential albums > Tap 'WhatsApp images' so a tick appears in the thumbnail > Done. 

If the folder is not visible at all then please open WhatsApp > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Settings > Chats > Media visibility > On > Back > Storage and data > Media auto-download > Tap on each preferred field, and make sure that 'Photos' is selected.

I have turned off the Hijiri calendar but the religious holiday information for this calendar still shows on my lock screen, can anyone tell me how to remove this?
