No, none needed at all on android devices, they are pretty locked down to begin with, and the built in security is enough.
Unless you go around sideloading suspicious apks, you'll be fine.
If you do lots of silly stuff and start to suspect you've infected your device, you can always download a couple of free antiviruses then and run a scan on each of them, then uninstall them after.
There's no reason anyone needs a permanent 3rd party antivirus running periodic scans and idling 24/7 on a modern smart phone.
