Santander banking app not work on split screen, any ideas?

I have a new Tab S10+ and the Santander Banking app in the UK does not work. Samsung UK Tech support cannot work out why, nor Santander.

The error is App does not work support split screen.

Any ideas?

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

Please note that, to my understanding, they can't be used in split screen. I just tested with Barclays and got a similar error. I believe this may have to do with some kind of security.

Are you using 3rd party apps or splic screen while accessing Santander? If you do it might trigger some security concerns.

Just checked on tab s10+ no issues logging into Santander without split screen.

Keep in mind some bank doesn't allow you take screenshot within the app or use split screens.

Hi, I don't want to use it in split screen, but not sure how to. I am trying to load it in full screen but when I go through all the security, at final stage it shows that message. I suspect all I need to do is disable split screen for that app only, but not sure how to.

Hi, I haven't got any other apps open, and when I open it and try to get through security it lets me get all the way through, and when I click on the link for my gmail account it then opens up gmail and then comes up with the error message. I am stumped at this stage!

Settings > advanced features > multi window > toggle off all of this in screnshot and turn them back on when you can log back onto the app1740951534278.jpg1740951581065.jpg

In Settings > Advanced features > Multi-window, show the multi-window menu with one window. Turn off/on full screen in split-screen view.

I don't own a Samsung tablet, so these settings are based on online searches.1740952221527.jpg

I've done it now, issue was not the multi window as above, it was because the banking app was opening up Gmail in split screen. I just needed to open up Gmail on my Samsung internet browser, then click on link there. All sorted, thanks for your help.
