Samsung s9 tab sdcard and Netflix

Has anyone else had issues with Netflix where you are unable to save downloads to the sd card as once you select that option it reverts back to internal storage.

I used this work around to get it to function but when will Netflix sort it out. Apparently it happened since UI 5.0 Netflix needs to get its act together 

grant permission for the app by enabling developer tools and using adb

I used: adb shell pm grant com.netflix.mediaclient android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

It might be to stop people stealing Netflix content because if you save the video to an sd card you can unplug the sd card with the videos on and then you can keep them as long as you like if you put the sd card back into a different device that can access the files.

Maybe they could be encrypted by netflix to only allow there software to read them. Maybe it's just samsung products

Have managed to get it to work using adb tools as listed in my first post but it's a faff

Same issues. Never had it on my other samsung tablets. Can you run it, how you done this please
