Facebook Issues Tab S8 Plus

Hi we have just bought a Tab s8 plus, very happy except when we open Facebook app, as any content on the home page display is huge and as such unable to see the full picture or comments on a single page. I have adjusted the zoom function in settings but has made no difference, does anybody have a solution to this annoying problem?

The page should auto optimise to fit the screen @Alastair1  🤔 

Perhaps have a look in the apps preference settings.
