Modern S Pens do get their power from a super capicator rather than lithium-ion batteries, which Apple and Microsoft use. A bit about the latest S Pen features for Tab S7/S7 Plus https://www.techradar.com/uk/news/samsungs-galaxy-tab-s7-update-brings-even-better-s-pen-features-to...

So what is the solution?

Hey I have a Tab S6 that I've been using for over 4 years by now. I notice the battery (or super capacitor) of the S Pen loses its full charge in shorter periods of time. I will deactivate air actions to see if there is an improvement. But it used to last for at least 2 hours after detached from the Tab. Of course it charges very fast, but now the need to recharge is more and more frequent.
