My Samsung book cover keyboard isnt working at all, + other problems

When I first got this tablet in December of last year, everything worked perfectly fine. The keyboard, the loading, mostly everything. But now...my tablet is having some very bad issues. It keeps lagging, won't load anything, and worst of all, the book cover keyboard it came with won't work at all. After a few months of use, I got used to it acting up every now and then, it would randomly stop working, or type extra letters. But it has gotten worse through out barely 2 years already. The keyboard has completely stopped working, and only the on-screen one will work. That's what I'm using to type this, and it's a PIA. I have tried everything to get the cover keyboard to work as well. I've restarted my tablet, I've restarted the keyboard settings, I've cleared my cache, I've even tried turning DeX on and off and nothing has worked. I look in the settings and it says under physical keyboard that nothing is connected. I don't know if that's for an actual keyboard that connects by DeX, or a book cover keyboard like mine, but I can't find anything to try and help me on this. I've also looked on here and couldn't find anything like this problem. Should I just file a complaint or should I get a new one? What do I do?

You could try cleaning the connectors, on the tab and keyboard. As you are experience other issues, lagging. Make sure all software and apps are upto date. Try wiping the cache partition. Look up how to do this on the tablet you have. If no luck after doing these steps, back up all important data, factory reset. Start fresh see if the issues continue after.
