I am extensively using MultiControl as I have Samsung PC, Tablet and Phone and i think it is a great feature. But I recently had a problem with my tablet (Galaxy S9+). When I have the tablet connected to MultiControl, while my PC is connected, the on-screen keyboard is not available, even if I'm using the tablet with S Pen. It simply does not appear when I tap any text field on the screen.

When I turn off MultiControl, it works as it should and the online keyboard appears.

It is not the same case with my phone (Galaxy S23 Ultra). When the phone is connected to MultiControl with PC, and I tap a text field, the online keyboard appears ant I can choose to use it or type in with physical keyboard attached to my PC.

how do I make the tablet to work the same way as my phone?

Hi,
Do you have an external keyboard attached to the tablet?

No, the keyboard is primarily connected to PC. The setup looks like this:

- Samsung PC (Book 2 Pro 360) with MultiControl on, and connected to Bluetooth Mouse and Bluetooth Keyboard
MultiControl PC SettingsMultiControl PC Settings

The text on screenshots is in Polish, but the settings on the tablet look exactly the same as on your screenshot.

What should I change?

Can you try temporarily disabling the mouse and check if the on-screen keyboard shows up then. Try the same with the keyboard, too. They might be overriding your tablets settings.

Oh BTW, please remove your personal details from the screenshot. This is a public forum, where anybody can view your post.

@ArturZiolkowski: As your Book2 Pro 360 has a physical keyboard, please grab your tablet and try heading to Settings > General management > Physical keyboard > Show on-screen keyboard, and toggle this option on to see if this helps.

Please note that I have removed the screenshots containing your email address from your post, in accordance with data protection. I appreciate that they were there to illustrate your issue, therefore if you do wish to re-post them then please do so with your personal details obscured.
