No I didn't. I tried every suggestion in the post and even took it to a local service center but no luck. Ended up buying another tablet. Never experienced anything like that before.
I had the same issue. I tried removing the SD card and rebooting, but it still didn't work. I cleared the cache and deleted some files to free up some memory, rebooted, et voila! it works.
