I'm not really sure what the technical names of the issue are but I'll try to explain it.
Imagine holding the tablet like reading a book. Your thumb will have to go onto the screen portion and fingers are on the backside of the tablet to stablize it as the tablet is heavy.
While on the Home Screen, I used to be able to hold it like this and have my thumb within 1/2 inch of the edge of the tablet screen without any issues. My thumb was on the LED Screen as well as the black edge.
Now, that same position makes the home screen minimize into the Edit Mode. We have to keep our thumbs along the black edge only and even the slightest touch of the screen (LED portion I think it's called) causes the Edit Mode.
I would think that this is just something I never noticed before because I use different tablets but my husband mentioned it as well. He asked if something changed because while holding the tablet in Home Screen, it kept taking the screen into Edit Mode and he is pretty sure this is a new issue. I know I've held it just like this while the Home Screen was on and then tapping on an app to open it and it did not go to Edit. Now I just pick up the tablet in Home Screen and it does it. It's annoying to have to reset the screen (back to regular from Edit Mode).
Any thoughts --even to tell us we are wrong and it's always been this way...is much appreciated.
