Connect tab to projector

Can you connect either the tab s6 or tab s7 to a projector using hdmi or vga cable?

It should work with hdmi cable and USB c to hdmi adapter as it works with TVs. I have connected my s8 and note8 previously to a projector to show DEX working

Do the s8 and note8 have mhl? the tab s6 and tab s7 doesn't wo will the hdmi work without MHL?
