My 7 year old has changed his password so we can't access his tablet. He hasn't a clue how hes done it but his tablet is linked to my phone. Is there anyway I can reset it from my phone? I'm terrible with technology and I'm also fuming with him!

I've watched a few videos but they all seem to be using the 2016 version which has a button in the centre at the bottom. This tablet is only a few months old as he dropped the 2016 version that we had 😡

If it is linked to your phone then you can most likely use Samsung find my phone/device option and reset the password from there or even maybe from a PC logged in to your Samsung account

I have the same tablet and just tested this, you can reset it from Find My Mobile, it is really easy 👍
