Touch on Galaxy Tab A9+ - registers touch immediately, but does not recognize initial movement for about 5mm

Using a Galaxy Tab A9+ with "Mixing Station", moving the faders results in the initial touch being detected, but movements are not acted upon until moved from about 5mm from the first touch location.
This is not the behavior on other Android devices, just my Samsung A9+

I do not see any setting in the OS that can change this. The Display "Touch Sensitivity" has no effect on this issue.

And as noted, the initial touch is detected, just the movement is delayed until about 5mm, then it jumps to that location. That's not very good for mixing live sound...

I just tested on my S22 Ultra and it does not have this issue.

I opened a ticket with Mixing Station, and they said "That is expected on certain devices (the move threshold is an android driver setting set by the manufacturer, it can't be changed)"

Umm, my cheap Amazon Kindle Fire tablets don't have this issue.  Can we please get a fix or setting for the A9+ to adjust the 'Move threshold'?
