My tablet does not recognize my pattern

Hello,

My new A10 tablet does not recognize my pattern any more. It's the right pattern i got no doubt! I tried to restart it, it wouldn't restart as it requires the pattern.

By the way every time i draw the pattern it says "try again in 29 seconds" it doesn't even let me draw the pattern immediately. 

What can i do now?

I really can't lose the data.

Is there a DIY method to fix this? I'd rather try that than going to Samsung to fix it if there's a  way

is your tablet linked to your Samsung account? because if it is, you should be able to go into find my device on your account and remotely unlock your tablet (if you have your pattern backed up to your Samsung cloud). if not, it may ask you to log back into your tablet using your Google account after you try too many times (I don't recommend doing that)
