Opgelost: AZERTY Book cover keyboard tab S9 FE+ - issue since update of 18/12 (QWERTY)

Hello,

We have since begin december the AZERTY Book cover Keyboard and a tablet S9. We were able to change the settings from Qwerty to Azerty. However since an update(* )beginning of the week (18/12 ) , the physical keyboard is using QWERTY but the settings (software) are correctly set in AZERTY.

We tried to restart, change from azerty to qwerty and back to azerty, ... but this gives no solution.

Can someone help us regarding this issue?

(*) versie UI S6.0

(*) versie X910XXU1BWK6X/XG100XM1BWK6/

Thank you for your message. Via the Samsung Members-app you can also send in an error report to my colleagues of the R&D department. They can investigate this and when this can be resolved by an update this will be rolled out as soon as possible. Let me know if it works.

1. Reproduce the problem

2. View the detailed photo or video

3. Long press the Samsung Members icon on the Apps screen and tap Error Reports

4. Tap OK in the pop-up window for sending system logs

5. Select Symptom category

6. Write down the problem in detail, attach necessary screenshots/photos/videos and then press send.

7. Also, within 10 minutes of reproducing, send a bug report with the secret logs. When sending a bug report, you should check Send system logs. This is how we get the logs.

Hello @Members_WHitzBN, good morning!

You should be able to change this under: settings > general settings > keyboard list and default > languages and typing > tap the language(s) set for your Tab > select either QWERTY or AZERTY, based on your preference.

It's also possible to select both when you have more than one keyboard language. You will be able to switch between them by tapping the globe icon on the keyboard while typing something.

I've had the same problem.

Keyboard book cover Azerty but it stays QWERTY. All settings are on AZERTY but it doesn't work.

Very frustrating, also because you paid top Price for this cover and it doesn't do what it has to do.

So I did what you said:

language is Nederlands ( België )

Samsung keyboard is Nederlands (BE) and is set to azerty.

Book cover keyboard (ef-dx715) is set to nederlands(BE)

Stil the actual keyboard stays in querty. The digital board on the tablet itself is in azerty.

Dear, I have exactly the same problem. Galaxy Table S9+ with azerty cover keyboard. I can set my general input languages French/Belgium, but that doesn't help. How can I set the COVER KEYBOARD language????? (the digital keyboard is in Azerty - no problem). Please help.
