All Photos not showing !!

OK, so I have a Galaxy Tab S7+ and a Galaxy S23.

I use Google Photos instead of the Samsung Photos option on the devices, mainly just out of habit.

So when I go into Google Photos on both devices, they are all identical, folders etc and are showing, but, when for example, I want to sell something on UK Gumtree or any selling site, when I click to add or upload photos, they are all there on the S23 and it's easy, but on the Tab S7+ there are only a few old photos (but they are in Google photos !!).

Is this a syncing issue that I have not set up so that ALL the photos are showing no matter what I do ?

Hi @152bobby ,

it's hard to say what may be causing this without having a closer look at it. As per your comment this may be down to permissions not being turned on for the Gallery app on your Tab. To check if this is the case head into the Tab Settings> Apps> Search for Gallery> Permissions> Photos and video> Allow.

Just checked that and it's set to Allow. But that's in the Samsung Gallery/photos. I think it's because I'm using Google Photos and Gallery...maybe I should use the Samsung Photos/Gallery instead ?

Even when I go into the Samasung gallery on the two devices, the Tab S7+ is not showing all the photos that are on the S23,  so it looks like it's something on the Tab S7+ that's no right !,

Thanks for having a look at this. Where this pictures taken using any of these devices? If you head into the Gallery app on both devices are these images displaying there? And are you using the selling sites own apps (Gumtree and others) or are you doing this via the browser?

If I go into the Google gallery app on both devices, everything is there.  If I go into the Samsung Gallery App, all my photos are on the S23, but not the TabS7+.

I take 95% of my photos on my S23 (prior to that Google Pixel 5).  Very few are taken on the Tab S7+.  It's frustrating, as I used to use all Google devices and now I have  S23, TabS7+ and Samsung Watch 4, I'd have thought everything would be synced.  I'd have thought twice about this, if I had realised that I'd have come across this issue.

I don't understand your last sentence...I just use the photo apps on both devices, ime sure it's not via a browser.

I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling this way. As per the information provided it seems that the photos are only saved on Google Photos so when you try to upload them from the Tab you cannot see them as this is not a native app. Anyway, you can download the files into the Tab to get this available to upload them from any of these selling site. To do this head into the Google Photos app on your Tab> Select a photo or video> Tap More ( 3 dots) and then Download.

Yes, that works, but it's a heck of a job to do that for EVERY photo 😭. At least I have a workaround for a specific photo, if I need to use it directly from my Tab S7+ in the way I have described. Just don't really understand why ALL my photos in the Google Photo app are not on both devices, but then all photos don't show up when using the scenario I explained earlier. Thanks for you input.
