A7 Lite connecting to my espresso machine and Bluetooth scale

These issues were introduced IMMEDIATELY after installing  One UI 6.0 and have persisted through 6.1.

100% bug caused by a dev screwing up the com stack

Despite being reported by however many thousands of customers, crickets and lack of action from Samsung.

Is everyone still having this issue or is there a fix?
Spoke to Samsung, tried a few troubleshooting tips but none worked, only made issue worse! Their only solution is for me to send off my phone for 2 weeks!

fyi, DO NOT reset Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings! This made it so I then had issues with my Samsung devices as well!

Still an issue.  IIRC this was introduced on my A7 in January or February 2024 via a forced update ie SEVERAL MONTHS AGO.   If you search this bug pops up everywhere.

Fact it hasn’t been fixed is ridiculous and borders on raging incompetence on Samsung's behalf because customers are unable to fully use core functionality on their devices where competitors devices work just fine   Other than a TV, this is my first time using a Samsung/Android mobile device and likely my last.

What useless muppet is running customers service and tech support?  You have a major bug introduced via an update, it’s been reported I don’t know how many times and at this stage it isn’t even entered into the knowledgebase the tech support reps are using so they know about it?

So every time we contact tech support, they ignorantly take us through the same pointless troubleshooting steps that will solve nothing and waste customers time.

I may ask ChatGPT to add up cumulatively the amount of customers time Samsung has wasted with this issue.  The number is probably so big mere mortals couldn’t compute it.

Imo there are some devs, a quality manager or two and a department manager running tech support that need to dust off their resumes.

Been a Samsung fan since the S3, had pretty much every generation since then. I thought it might be a Bluetooth device limit at one point but my phone is supposed to be able to connect to up to 7 devices at a time! Which I double checked to make sure.

Thing is I tried some of the fixes that temporarily work and my watch, ring and buds now work fine, but none of the 3rd party stuff. Funny isn't it that the Samsung stuff works!?

This is disgusting customer service and what's worse is that they don't even seem to care! I've found posts about this issue dating back to last year!

And they wonder why their losing market share to other manufacturers. I'm already planning a switch to iPhone once this contract is up.

I've had iPads since they came out and honestly never had a problem this bad! And ALL their problems get sorted in a week! Not just brushed off.

This is extremely frustrating for it I also believe it was before the latest 6.1 update. Issues on S23/24 Ultra. Figured out that Bluetooth remote devices seam to be the culprit here... Every time the device seams to want to connect my screen freezes, then won't respond for a good 15 seconds. If the device screen off buttons become unresponsive for that duration. Disabling Bluetooth fixes everything.
