Option to remove stacked notifications

I recently went from Samsung Galaxy A52s to Samsung Galaxy A56. One thing I noticed is that notifications are getting stacked, and there is no option to turn this off. For example, when I have notifications from several people on WhatsApp, only one of those shows up in the notification screen. I have to actively swipe on that one notification to see that I have several more notifications from Whatsapp. This is insanely bothersome since it causes me to miss a lot of notifications. Please introduce an option to remove this.

This is a Google and Android feature I believe, currently there's no way to switch it off.
