Lock Screen Clock

Please add "keep screen on" button to the lockscreen clock(as shown in screenshot) to keep the screen awake as long as the user want it. The default screen ON time is 10seconds only.

So, people who need to see the clock for longer duration can make use of this button. 

Samsung smart switch app offers this feature(keep screen on) when file transferring is in progress.

This feature will be useful for people who are not interested in turning on Always On Display, but need to see the clock for an extended period of time when they need.

You can even add customisation features like 'black background' when enabling 'keep screen on' button to enhance prolonged battery life.

You can also bring in 'stopwatch' and/or 'timer' options to this screen. This gives choice to users to use these features without unlocking the phone, thus encouraging digital wellbeing by reducing other distractions.

You have that option,  but you must turn on AOD

 And with Good Lock's modul Lock Star you can set even different clock style on lock screen and AOD screen

And I suppose that this your request is impossible as your other request because of security reasons.

You have AOD, but you want to bypass it. Sure, of course.  Samsung will allow this 😆

And meaning of Always On Display is?

So, if you want clock ALWAYS ON DISPLAY,  how you can do that without AOD? Do you really think that this would be possible 🫩

I clearly mentioned that this feature will be useful for people who are not interested in turning on AOD.
For instance, I am a person who don't use AOD. But some times I need to see the clock for some extended period of time, say 10minutes (not 24*7). In such cases, this type of feature can help me to meet my needs.

Also, how is it supposed to bypass AOD? I am asking because I don't understand. Please explain if you can.

PS: I'm reminding you again, this feature is not for the people who want the clock ON 24*7, AOD is already there for them, and i know it.

Thank you for your suggestion! The idea you describe seems very similar to AOD functionality, you can also customize when AOD screen shows so I recommend you to try that option 😊

But you have option to increase lock screen timeout up to 10 minutes (which Im not recommended if you are not close to your phone) with Good Lock module Lock Star already and I certainly no need to explain what means "keep screen on when you look at on it" , have I? And why is lock screen timeout restricted with display timeout 

AOD doesn't need front camera, so yes, you want bypass AOD and that can be exploited if you have in hand phone that's not your
