100% agree on the lock screen icons. The new position is really impractical and definitely a form over function change.
If your mobile provider name is long or you are using two SIMs you don't get any notification icons at all which is really silly. Its also made the always on display borderline useless for me as the icons are so small and tucked in the corner so you can't really glance at it to see them anymore.
The icons aren't even aligned properly with the mobile network name either which just adds insult to injury (see attached screenshots, have reported it).
To be honest I'd personally like the option to put them back below the lock screen clock where they were prior to One UI 7.
I've had to switch to using the card view (which I don't really like but that's more of a preference thing) as I've missed notifications because my mobile network name from 'EE' to 'EE Backup calling' so it didn't display any notification icons when I was in area with poor phone signal but still had a data connection.
I'd genuinely go as far as to say that it might be a deal breaker for me if it's not changed as you shouldn't really have to make compromises like this on a flagship phone. Hoping lockstar will be updated in future with an option to change it otherwise I'm going to be looking for a new phone
