Apps available for some Samsung TV's but not others?

Hi community. 

 
I have 3 Samsung TVs in my home, all less than 3 years old. 1 of them is very new. 

Did anyone notice that some Apps, Appletv, Nowtv, is available for some tv's but not others? 

I've noticed its a bit inconsistent. 

You would think that streaming apps would be available for all TV's that support apps. 

Thoughts?

If the apps are not in there the channel decided not to supply them to Samsung.

My partners Samsung tv has completely different apps available than my Samsung tv.  Both say they are updated with the latest software.  Its so strange

Pugs1957 has it pretty much right. Apps may not be present due to lack of compatibility/support from the TV’s operating system or hardware; geographical restrictions (usually down to stuff like broadcasting legislation and/or deals between the various companies); or simply that the app developer hasn’t created the app for that operating system/chipset (yet; or has decided not to).

@BecHarri , Out of curiosity, what are the model numbers of yours and your partner's TVs? (Model number should be in 'Menu / Settings > Support > Contact Samsung / About This TV' or similar if you can't find it on the back of the TV.)
