This seems interesting , I actually have Hive connected to Google Home recently . https://googlehomecentral.com/hive-to-google-home/ -Here i was fascinated about IFTTT , doesn't ifttt and smartthings work ?
and if this works i can get Google Home devices to work on SmartThings as you said . Do you have any other guidance for moving on to this ? What do you think of using IFTTT with Hive for smartthings? will that work?

It looks like you can add Hive thermostats to SmartThings, but you might need to connect them through a third-party integration. If Hive isn’t showing up in the device list, try going to the SmartThings app, click “Add device,” and look for Hive under "Works with SmartThings" or use the SmartThings Hub. Also, make sure both your app and devices are updated to the latest software for everything to work properly.
