Yet another day wasted waiting for DPD

Amazingly Samsung customer service rang me yesterday offering me a voucher to make up for them over charging for the S23+ I ordered. I pointed out that it was pointless talking to me as they had still failed to deliver the actual phone. So today I got yet another notification from DPD saying they will deliver in the one hour time slot, this time it was 13:59 to 14:59. As usual the slot came and went. As usual the tracking showed the van passing by time and time again. As usual the message said there was a delay. It’s now 18:07, I expect as usual it will at some point say the parcel is back at the depot as there was a problem. I had a delivery from the Post Office today without issue, I had a delivery from Amazon, again no problem. I won’t be waiting in again after today, I have lost 4 days to this farce.

I agree time is precious so when a day and time are supplied then it should be honoured.

I know occasionally the DPD Driver's run out of time so the delivery is added to the next days schedule if possible.

Inconvenient I appreciate.

At a minimum you should be advised of what's going on either via an email from Samsung and or notification through the DPD App.

Would you let us know how you get on please @Members_CTmGE63

I have rearranged three times, THREE TIMES! This is the fourth day wasted waiting for this delivery, that’s beyond inconvenient. The tracker just showed the driver passing again btw. I don’t think the phone exists, or maybe the DPD driver is now enjoying it. What I do know is that I don’t have it and it is unlikely I will ever get it. I will be looking at iPhones tomorrow.

What company delivers iPhones? Could have the same issue.

I know your unimpressed with the current events surrounding your order and have every right to vent. 😔

It might be worth contacting the Samsung Online Team and even though you shouldn't have to DPD too.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎

DPD are uncontactable. I have given Samsung plenty of opportunity to deal with this but they have chosen not to. They over charged me initially then tried to get out of that even though I had documented proof. This would have been my fifth Samsung Galaxy, instead I am completely off Samsung now. The next phone I get I will collect from a shop.

Just had the notification that once again they are not delivering and inviting me to waste yet more time by rearranging. I am emailing Samsung to cancel my order and get a refund, if necessary I will action a chargeback on my card.

Well that’s that, my last ever dealing with Samsung, order cancelled, refund promised, hopefully that will be delivered more effectively than the phone. Samsung have lost a lifetime customer.

Why Samsung use DPD as a delivery service is beyond any logic. Unless of course it's the cheapest!
People just pray and be thankful that it turns up in one piece 🤞🏻
I deal with delivery drivers on a daily basis, as part of my job. I've seen first hand the way they treat their parcels in the back of the van. Oh yeah, and if they're running out of time they'll just put it down to "no answer". Even if they haven't even pressed your doorbell.
