upgrade after 2 years

upgrade window is open, i have had my note 20 ultra for 2 years after not wanting to upgrade to the z's last year.  

Finally able to upgrade but again no notes and don't want a fold.  I want the S22 ultra.  no option to upgrade to that.  

Tried to chat to online help and they went away to do something and never came back.  chat just ended

any ideas

Unfortunately going from past threads on this @Jenatron you can only choose from what's available to you.

Customer Support can't change that.

It's weird isn't it. I went from note 20 ultra to fold 3 and now the s22 ultra is essentially a note with a different name

I heard from reddit that you can only upgrade to the same phone line. Eg a Z to a Z, a Galaxy for a Galaxy. As the Note line doesn't continue, I guess Samsung want to steer you to their latest Z phones.
