Hi all,
I’ve pre-ordered a new 1TB Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra after the unpacked event and requested delivery for the 28th and I’m trading in my S23 Ultra, but I used the delivery and recycling option. Will this be an issue? As previously when trading in I’m pretty sure I’ve selected the delivery only option. I only realised I’d accidentally done this like a day or so later after the order. I haven’t cancelled my order as of yet as I’m hoping it won’t be an issue and Klana have already set up my direct debit plan with the first payment coming out on 5/2/24.

The importance here is did Samsung reduce your order value by the cost of the Trade-In @MarcBanno1999 ?
Please double check your order details ASAP. 🙏
I would suggest to contact the Samsung Online Sales Team to be safe or if the order hasn't reduced.
If it hasn't reduced then I don't think the Samsung Online Shop Team can amend this unfortunately meaning you'll have to most likely start again.
Ask them.
Here is a similar thread > https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s22-series/trade-in.
Here is a screenshot of the info about the two options in regards to Trade-In and Delivery and recycling option.
I've underlined in red a part of the explanation.
Please let us know how you get on.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I’ve just been on the phone to Samsung Uk and she said on the phone that it’s fine. When they deliver my new phone to just wait for the trade in pack separately and not to give my old phone to DPD as it’ll be then sent off for recycling which isn’t what I want and the trade in people may not receive my S23 Ultra. She said about phoning back up when I get my new phone for the refund of the £10 but I’m not all too fussed about that it’s more effort than it’s worth being on hold just to get £10 back.
